JusticeVision™ provides a security model that protects data integrity and privacy while supporting efficient data access and collaboration.
Secure application access is ensured by employing Azure Active Directory Service (AADS) to authenticate identities. DVG, JusticeVision’s parent company, employs AADS security groups to assist owners in managing their security programs.
JusticeVision™ is built utilizing a “Zero Trust - Security First” approach. DVG ensures that technical, administrative and organizational safeguards are employed during the development, testing, deployment and support of JusticeVision™.
Dynamics 365 security enables the ability to establish security from the application level down to the field level. Robust logging can also be enabled and made available for investigation and compliance needs.
The security model promotes the following outcomes:
Data stored in the application is encrypted at rest and in-transit. Data connections between the user community and Microsoft datacenters and all public endpoints are secured using industry-standard TLS 1.2.
JusticeVision is available in both commercial and Government Community Cloud (GCC) deployments. The GCC environment provides compliance with federal requirements for cloud services, including FedRAMP High, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and requirements for criminal justice and federal tax information systems (CJIS and FTI data types).
